Autobóz 2019

July 12-19, Firbush, Scotland

Autobóz is a yearly week-long invitational research camp on Logic, Automata, and Games. We strive to find each year a remote location to allow a group of about 25 young researchers to work in a distraction-free environment.

Started as a workshop for PhD students in Warsaw, Autobóz has grown to include researchers from all over the world, and multiple publications are direct consequences of the interactions fostered during these meetings.

This year's Autobóz will take place in Scotland.

Accommodation is in shared, single-gender rooms (up to 4 people); bathrooms are also shared and single-gender.

The Center offers plenty of sport opportunities. The next pub is Falls of Dochard Inn, 3.7km up the road in Killin.

Getting there and back

The closest airports are Edinburgh and Glasgow (GLA, not Prestwick!), both 1.5h by car.

We will try to organize shared cabs closer to the date, when people know their exact travel plans. For the return, we will leave on Friday 19/07 after breakfast. We plan to hire a bus that should bring us to Edinburgh Airport / Waverley by 1pm. The cost for cabs/bus will depend on how many of us will share and is not included in the price for accommodation.
